Choir Students
Choir Students
Students are expected to commit to the School Choir for the duration of the school year.
Students are required to agree to a “code of conduct” as part of their commitment to the Choir Program for 2026. This "code of conduct" covers commitment to:
Attendance (rehearsals & performances)
Punctuality
Practising their singing exercises and choir songs at home
Being respectful, responsible and safe towards their peers and teachers during all Band activities.
Breaching this code may result in students being asked to leave the Choir.

The Choir is part of the co-curricular Music Ensembles Program (MEP) run at OLGC by external contractors with the support of the school Principal and the school office staff.
To make the Choir a real success for our students, we require the assistance of parents in various ways throughout the year, including:
set-up and pack-away at Choir and combined MEP events
parent supervision at events outside of school hours
general assistance as requested or required for Choir events
We ask that all parents make a commitment to assist in some way at at least one choir event during the year.
If you feel you have special “talents” or other assistance you could “donate” to the Music Ensembles program, please contact the Choir Directors.

These annual fees cover the wages for the Choir Directors; accompanist fees for school and Parish Masses; resource and administrative costs; and other choir-related expenses.
Music Ensemble fees are NOT included in normal school fee accounts.
You will receive a SEPARATE “Music Ensembles” invoice early in 2026 once we have received your child's enrolment form (including the "code of conduct" and OSH events consent forms).
Our invoices are sent via email through a program called "Zoho Invoice"
Fees are then paid via Qkr! or credit card by phoning the School Office during school hours (11am-4pm preferred) only.
All Music Ensemble fees are due
in FULL
by Friday March 20, 2026.
In special circumstances, planned payment arrangements can be made for Music Ensemble fees. Please contact the Music Ensembles Administrator to discuss your requirements.
