 BAND WORKSHOP DAY 1 - "Camp Capy on Campus"   -

•  Friday 15th May 2026** - Onsite at OLGC

•  8:45am-3:10pm** (Normal School Hours)

NB: there will be an additional fee  - $60

'Open rehearsal' Performance at 2:30pm- 2:50pm - parents welcome to attend

Week 6: 

 ***Performance - Northern Beaches Instrumental Festival *** 
Northern Beaches Instrumental Festival (NBIF) – Training Band

Date: Wednesday 27 May (Week 6)
Venue: Killarney Heights High School
Starkey St, Killarney Heights
Please note: venue change from last year (not Pittwater High School)

 Event Times
• Arrival: 4:30pm sharp - (for set up and warm up)
• Concert: 5pm – 6:40pm

 Dress
OLGC full winter uniform and jumpers/jackets (neat hair)

 Bring
• Instrument
• Band music & green folder
• Accessories (e.g. spare reeds)

 Tickets (at the door only)
• $10 Adult
• $5 Concession
• $20 Family
Valid for the full festival - so if you have children in both the Training Band and Performance Band sessions you only pay once.

 Audience
Family and friends are warmly welcome
Students are expected to stay for the full concert

• Please make attendance a priority
• OLGC Performance Band performs in the later session

Time: approx. 2:30pm-3pm. - Parents and Friends Invited to attend

Date: Thursday July 2 (Last day of Term) 

Venue: School Hall

Who: All OLGC Music Ensembles

• 2027 Demonstration and Recruitment Assembly for 2027
  (students and school staff only)

• Event times: 2 - 3pm 

• Venue: School Hall

 *** Performance "End of Year MEP Showcase" with Choir.  

• End Of Year OLGC MEP Concert - "OLGC Music Celebration Day"
  (all welcome to attend)

• Date: Thursday November 19, 2026 

• Event times:
  Arrival: 6:30pm sharp - (for set up and warm up)
  Concert: 7pm - 8:15pm (assistance requested to pack up afterwards :))

• Venue: School Hall

• Audience:  no tickets required
  Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend.

Week 3: Thursday February 12 @ 7:45am - 8:30am (in D3 Band/Music Room)

Training Band Parent & Student Meeting
All students must have a parent/adult guardian present to receive their hired OLGC instrument.

Week 4: First private instrument lesson
You will be contacted directly by your allocated OLGC music tutor.

Week 5: Private instrument lessons continue

Week 6: Training Band Rehearsals begin (continue to end of term)

1. Tuesday March 3 @ 3:15-4:15pm

2. Thursday March 5 @ 7:40-8:40am

Week 10:

Monday 30th March - mini concert in school. Bun-anza Day.

8:40am- 8:50am - Arrive 8:15am to set up.
