Week 1: Rehearsals start

School Photo Day - Band Photo taken - Reminder to bring instruments for our band photo!

Week 6 or 7
Performance: Northern Beaches Instrumental Festival
Venue: Pittwater or Cromer High School
DATE & TIME TBC: from Monday May 25 - Wednesday June 3; 5pm or 7pm)

Week 11: Thursday July 2

** Performance: Whole School "Music Ensembles Assembly" approx. 2:30pm-3pm. - Parents and Friends Invited to attend

Week 1: Rehearsals start

Week 5: BAND WORKSHOP DAY 2!  - **Friday 21st August 2026** - Onsite at OLGC - **8:45am-3:10pm** (Normal School Hours)

Week 8:  Morning Assembly Performance - Day TBC

Week 8 or 9 TBC:  Mater Maria Band Day - TBC if both performance band and training band

Week 1: Rehearsals start

Week 6: Thursday November 19, 2026

Performance: "OLGC Music Celebration Day"

• Lunchtime busking for a cause

• 2027 Recruitment Assembly
  (students and school staff only)

• End Of Year Showcase Concert - 7pm start
  (all welcome to attend)

Week 3: Thursday February 12 @ 7:45am - 8:30am (in D3 Band/Music Room)

Training Band Parent & Student Meeting
All students must have a parent/adult guardian present to receive their hired OLGC instrument.

Week 4: First private instrument lesson
You will be contacted directly by your allocated OLGC music tutor.

Week 5: Private instrument lessons continue

Week 6: Training Band Rehearsals begin (continue to end of term)

1. Tuesday March 3 @ 3:15-4:15pm

2. Thursday March 5 @ 7:40-8:40am

Week 10:

Monday 30th March - mini concert in school. Bun-anza Day.

8:40am- 8:50am - Arrive 8:15am to set up.
